Car Club is a great way to meet new people and be involved in the school. From being involved in any club, students can learn skills such as communication, ways to be successful, and teamwork. Get to know more about the clubs through the people in them.
Car Club has just recently started in October of this year and has already become successful from their recent car show. About 200 cars showed up to the event making it one of the biggest car shows in the local area. Cars varied from Lamborghini to taco trucks making it fun and inclusive for everyone. People were also selling items such as scents for their cars and Hot Wheels. Mrs. Erwin is the Car Club sponsor who helps run these events, she said, “I know a lot about cars and I always have, so I think it’s cool to see young kids because I was 16 when I sat in my first sports car, my first Corvette, and I’ve always liked cars. But when I sat in one and I drove in one, that is what set it off for me. These kids are in the same age group so I think it’s cool that they’re learning about nice cars and what to do with them.” Car Club can influence students by helping them know more about cars and the right way to care for them, as well as earning the right money for them. From Car Clubs’ success and influence, other schools are now thinking about having a Car Club as well.
Clubs are a great way to collaborate and connect with other people who have the same interests. They provide students with a platform to showcase their talents and creativity. Being in these also helps you make long-lasting friendships. In the end, they both play a significant role in the high school experience.
