Kettle Run High School is constantly accepting new staff members into their community. The new science teacher, Mrs. Kmiecinski is a fun and exciting new staff member eager to educate the minds of young students.
Mrs. Kmiecinski attended Mary Baldwin University. She then became a substitute teacher and she loved it so much, she wanted to do it full-time. Teaching since the year 2000, she has recently transferred to Kettle Run High School and into the science department looking for a new job to call hers.
Mrs. Kmiencinski has always loved science. Her favorite part of teaching is the interaction with kids. She says the cherry on top is “Seeing students be successful and enjoying what they’re learning.” Being a teacher has its ups and downs. Sometimes you run into teachers who have lost their passion for teaching. Maybe they don’t like working with kids or their colleagues, but Mrs. Kmiencinski is the opposite. One teacher who has been especially kind to her is Ms. Hagen.
Having co-workers you can trust is important in a workplace like a school. Ms. Hagen teaches earth science, oceanography, and freshman seminar. She is an inviting individual who has helped Ms. Kmiecinski with her new position at Kettle Run.
Mrs. Kmiencinski is ready to get involved in the school community. She is involved in the college club but is “open to helping with other things” as well. She’s a hardworking teacher with a caring personality, ready for what is next at Kettle Run High School.
